Description
Kayla Divine Channel represents a woman, an holistic healer and a tarot/oracle card reader with the vibe of an Egyptian goddess. She is the 'Divine Feminine', she's caring, genuine, beautiful, powerful and so much more. She guides you on your path to enlightenment, and especially on the 'Twin Flame'-journey.

I loved doing her branding the first time around for a school project,
and doing her rebrand on top of that, I loved even more.
All my design work is based on research and strategy, and I really am pleased with how this turned out.

This is what Kayla had to say:

"Wow Ann, this is so beautiful!
I love how you evolved the icon and it feels to me that the energy of the brand/business has evolved and matured. You did such a beautiful job channeling this and it very much has an Egyptian-style to it. It feels in alignment with myself and what I am offering the world. I feel a strong grounded energy from this layout, the colors and icon and I feel nothing needs to be changed."

"So in love with this! You were truly able to channel the true essence on my soul and the energy I am choosing to share with the world! Thank you, sister!"

Typography
The typography is Cinzel from Google Fonts, designed by Natanael Gama. It is inspired by "first century Roman inscriptions" and has the perfect goddess-vibe to it. I have paired it with a modern serif called Lora, also from Google Fonts, designed by Cyreal, which is inspired by calligraphy, has an artsy feel to it, and works well for paragraphs.

Colors
The colors are carefully gathered with what I would say is inspiration from "a sunset on the Saharan desert". The palette is large, but in this case, it works well - especially when creating additional elements such as GIFs. I have also included a near black and near white, for use instead of black/white whenever possible.

Logo
The mark is inspired by the Crown of Isis, the Eye of Horus, the phases of the moon, the 'Triple Goddess' (maiden, mother, crone), and the 'K' for Kayla. There is so much symbolism packed into that mark, and it emanates a lot of power. I was also very excited about the colors of the mark, and how they worked on both darker and lighter surfaces, whilst the wordmark changes color for correct contrast.

Additionally, the wordmark has the Fibonacci-sequence integrated into its proposition, balance and details.
If there are ever any situations that requires black/white versions, this shows the logo versions for that. The apparent gradient is created with tints and transparency, depending on which surface/platform it is applied to.
GIFs and Illustrations
Working with Kayla, and her being active on social media-platforms like Instagram, I suggested to her that I could design some on illustrations and on brand-GIFs for her to use in her stories and on her website. These are some of the ones that I've designed until now, getting inspiration from Egyptian hieroglyphs, whilst others are more directly linked to her brand and her main logo.

Webdesign | Strategic Planning
From early on, the goal for Kayla Divine Channel was to be able to receive her clients on a website, and for them to get to know her and ultimately book sessions for either Tarot Readings or Healing Sessions.
We therefore stared the process with an in depth conversion to uncover the structure,
and the needs and goals for her website.

Based on this I created a sitemap, where I planned the sections and general organization of the site.
Business/Concept
Kayla Divine Channel is going to offer two services through its (new) website, which is ‘Remote Healing’ and ‘Tarot Reading’. The company produces free material on Social Media, which helps with to bring an awareness of the human’s emotions, feelings, ego, etc. to help on the journey to the merging of your highest self.

Kayla Divine Channel also receives channelings from the divine, which are advice and wisdom that helps on the journey to self-discovery – especially those who are ‘Twin Flames’. Here, she addresses the ‘Divine Feminine’ to bring self-healing, which ultimately results in a union with the ‘Divine Masculine’.

She would also like to have a blog, which will help with transmitting more information to her clients, in order for them to grow and expand their consciousness.
Profile
Kayla Divine Channel is the embodiment of the ‘Divine Feminine’, and therefore she/the company reflects this.

The ‘Divine Feminine’ is powerful, loving, in contact with nature, feminine, a true magician, down to earth, “rich”/abundant (not in the materialistic aspect), authentic, truthful, kind, radiating/glooming, attractive, sweet, dainty etc.

The company is also a source of wisdom, and knowledge. Its goal is to bring a welcoming environment where the clients can evolve.
Vision
The new website is merely the start of something that is meant to expand and grow.

Kayla Divine Channel would like to offer services like remote healing, tarot readings,
channelings, meditations/yoga, crystal grids etc.

She would like to start her own Art Studio, and also hold courses for children and youth.
Audience
Worldwide (English speaking) audience, with a special interest in spirituality, the awakening-process (ego/soul/higher self) and ‘Twin Flames’. Mainly women, especially those who consider themselves to be a ‘Divine Feminine’, in an approximate age group of 20-35. Men are also welcome. They might also resonate with the concept of ‘the 144000’. Their socioeconomic background is not much of relevance, since the company offers some free content, and is based on the value of “giving”.

Some of their other interests might be:
- Tarot, readings, mediumship
- Astrology and horoscopes
- Psychology
- Reading, books
- Nature/Earth/Gaia
- Natural products, cruelty-free products, vegan/vegetarian products
- Handcrafts
- Meditation/Yoga
- Crystals, stones and minerals
- Eastern Medicine
- Mythology
- Ancient Civilizations
- Art/Creativity

Website
A website that represent the company and its values and style, especially by implementing photos provided by company. To begin with the website will offer two payable services (Remote Healing and Tarot Readings), and it should direct the payment through PayPal. We will set up an e-mail service/contact form as well. It should also have a category/page specified towards the Twin Flame community, link shown together with the other services, so that this group of audience can direct themselves easily to their specified content and services (add: counseling as service).

The website will also contain a blog, and should have a News Feed that brings forth the newest content from all platforms (embedded media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). We are considering using Wordpress or Wix or something similar for easy maintenance and content creation.

We will set up a subscription for clients to stay posted on updates on the website. Daily and weekly Newsletters, this will be connected to the e-mail agent. The request might be shown as a pop-up, or in the sidebar, and footer.

Other things that the website needs to handle:
- YouTube (embeds)
- Social Media
- SEO
- Large, High Quality images (for art/future)
- Easy updates
- Content Creation
- Payment Portal (Safe)
- Booking Calendar with auto-referral to a video call (Skype/Zoom/Meet)
- Client List
- Testimonials
- etc.
All my design work is based on research and strategy.
In the future I will be adding more onto this project, through webdesign and other brand elements.

Thank you for reading, liking or appreciating my project, I'm truly grateful!

Thank you again,
Ann-Jeanette
